Ingredients
- – 1 French baguette, sliced
- – 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- – 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- – 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- – 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- – 1 tablespoon honey
- – Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- 3. combine the sliced strawberries, balsamic glaze, and chopped basil in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and gently toss to combine.
- 4. mix the ricotta cheese with honey until well combined in another bowl.
- 5. Once the baguette slices are toasted, spread a layer of the sweetened ricotta cheese on each slice.
- 6. Top the ricotta with the strawberry mixture, dividing it evenly among the slices.
- 7. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious strawberry bruschetta on French bread!
