Happy November, loves! Hoping October was a great month for you!
LIFE LATELY…
October was an incredibly busy and just a really wonderful month. I turned 39th on October 3, {how am I in my last year of my 30’s!?} headed out San Francisco & Napa Valley to celebrate my birthday with my sweetie, met my boyfriends kids, {such a big step in our relationship} my nephew turned 16 + lots of ongoing birthday dinners & drinks with friends {I celebrate all month every year, lol}. We did some fun fall things like apple picking + an afternoon outside at Silver Fork Winery and the pumpkin patch. Work was super busy and with all that being said, between travel and perhaps too much fun, I definitely wore my body down and I’ve been fighting off a cold, on & off, for the last 3 weeks. I swear ever since I got covid in July, my immune system just hasn’t been the same. So frustrating.
WATCHING.
LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE.
Really great movie on Netflix, starring one of my favorite actresses, Mila Kunis. This movie took so many turns and shines a light on rape victims.
INHERITANCE.
Loved this movie with another favorite actress of mine, Lily Collins. What a crazy story! omg.
EMILY IN PARIS.
Rewatching Season 1 & 2 of Emily in Paris in preparation for the release of Season 3 on December 21.
LISTENING.
Always a mix of old & new, sharing what I’ve been listening to over the last month.
Not too many new songs in the past month, but I am LOVING T. Swifts new album, Midnights. Added a few of my favorites to the mix above.
Really enjoyed this episode of The Everygirl Podcast with Kat Jamieson. Loved the health & wellness tips she shared which really align with my lifestyle. Definitely a good listen.
WEARING + WHAT I BOUGHT.
I bought this Fringed Sweater at Anthropologie using my 20% code for my birthday month.
I absolutely love this fun & frilly sweater. I typically don’t go for tops that have so much going on, especially around the shoulders because I’m pretty broad across the shoulders, but I love everything about the look and fit of this sweater. Just from eyeballing the sweater, I thought I may need to size up to a medium. But my normal size, small, fit perfect – even the length works for my height (5’10”) and long torso. Planning to wear this with black & regular denim.
A couple new pieces that I’m loving from Madewell…
This Quilted Packable Popover Puffer Jacket. I love the weight of this jacket – not too lite and not too heavy + the details are super cute – love the quilted detail, cozy hood, kangaroo pocket to keep my hands warm, love the longer length and the color.
I couldn’t resist this stripe button down with the cutest tulip hem detail in the back. Slightly oversized fit, I got an XS.
Reordered my absolute favorite Suede Ankle Booties from Marc Fisher after a friend spilled a glass of wine on me at a restaurant. haha We did a triple date, walked into the restaurant and literally within 2 minutes of being there, I had an entire glass of red wine all over my jeans, boots and sweater. Luckily, wine away got everything out of my jeans and sweater {amazing!} but the boots didn’t make it. I literally reordered the boots in the restaurant and did rush shipping so I could bring the boots with me to Napa.
You seriously cannot beat the price on Marc Fisher Boots at Nordstrom Rack.
I have been wearing my Vaneli Suede Sneakers like crazy. They are just so cute & comfy and so perfect for the season.
I wear my grey 574 New Balance sneakers non-stop. I throw them on with jeans or leggings and they go with everything. Such a perfect versatile sneaker and super comfortable. They run TTS.

USING.
HAIR, SKIN, BEAUTY & SUPPLEMENTS.
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a few products I’ve been eyeing from Sakara. I’ve been on the fence about their meal delivery program and ultimately decided against it because I truly do enjoy cooking and use so many of the same ingredients that they use in their meals.
I purchased the Metabolism Super Powder, Complete Probiotic and Detox Water Drops with Chlorophyll.
